Tensions were high as The Woodlands Christian Academy moved up from TAPPS Class 4A to Class 5A.

The competition will be tougher but the Warriors of TWCA have some elite talent. Dual-sport athlete Caedmon Parker is one of the best pitchers in the nation as an Under Armour and Perfect Game All-American. Marshall Hale is versatile at the corner infield positions while Carson Queck will lead the outfield. The Warriors will see Lutheran South, Second Baptist, and Emery/Weiner on a nightly basis in district play. For the 13th time in the history of VYPE Media, the Baseball/Softball Preview is here! On Wednesday, VYPE revealed the cover of the 13th edition of the publication, which featured seven baseball and softball stars from the Greater Houston Area. 2021 MLB Draft prospects Izaac Pacheco (Friendswood/Texas A&M) and Caedmon Parker (The Woodlands Christian Academy/TCU) were picked for the cover. A pair of 2022 MLB prospects also made the cover in dual-sport phenom Conner Weigman (Bridgeland/Texas A&M) and Jace LaViollete (Tompkins/LSU).
