The group Environment Texas sued the Irving, Texas-based company in 2010. Since 2008 Harris County Transit has grown from two routes to 12, serving places in east Harris County that aren't covered by METRO. David Jones, Harris County Transit's deputy assistant director, said that with 12 routes, the agency will get to 2 million in an even shorter timeframe. Harris County Transit also discontinued fares back in March, a policy that will remain in place to help promote social distancing on buses. NEW YORK (Reuters) - A crude oil spill near Baytown, Texas, has restarted after earlier being contained, U.S. Coast Guard officials said in an updated statement on Sunday. About 630 gallons of diesel fuel spilled in Tabbs Bay and approximately one mile (1.6 km) of shoreline has been affected, officials said. The cause of the spill is under investigation. The source of the release was initially secured but has since begun to leak again, they said. About 2,000 feet (610 meters) of absorbent material was placed along the shoreline.
