5-year-old child found unresponsive in pool in Spring

SPRING, Texas – A 5-year-old was found unresponsive in a pool in Spring Tuesday, Harris County Precinct 4 Mark Herman’s Office said.

Constable deputies responded to reports of a child that was found in a community pool located in the 25000 block of Breckenridge Village Drive.

According to Precinct 4, the child is now breathing and was transported to a hospital by Harris County ESD 11.

Constable deputies have not provided further details at this time.

Authorities said this was the second incident where a child was found unresponsive in a pool Tuesday. A 2-year-old who was found unresponsive in a pool in northwest Harris County died two hours after being transported to the hospital, Precinct 4 said.
