GRIMES COUNTY, Tx – Grimes County Sheriff Deputies responded to 911 calls Saturday night about a shooting in the town of Bedias, which is between College Station and Huntsville.
They got to the area on Independence Drive and found one man who had been shot several times.

That man died from his injuries.
In a news release, Sheriff Don Sowell stated that another man at the scene told investigators he fired the shots.
The Sheriff added that man was detained and cooperated with investigators.
A woman at the scene was also questioned.
The Texas Rangers and Grimes County District Attorney’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released the name of the victim and has not said if anyone is being charged.
