When officers arrived, they entered the residence and found two people dead inside the home, one man and one woman. Investigators believe both victims were between their 20s and 30s, but their identities have not been released.

Police said the victims appeared to be residents of the home.

Investigators do not believe the victims shot each other. No weapons were found inside the house, and detectives believe a third person was responsible for the shooting. The suspect remains at large, and no description has been released.

Several surveillance cameras were visible around the home, and detectives are expected to review the footage as part of the investigation.

Crime Scene Unit investigators remained at the scene Sunday morning processing evidence.

Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident that occurred inside the home and does not pose an ongoing threat to the public.

The homeowner was at the residence but told investigators they did not know the victims or their names.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Houston.
