Theft at Cypress area Walmart leads to pursuit that ends in west Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, Tx – It started just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon with a report of men stealing merchandise from the Walmart on North Fry Road near West Little York Road.

According to a social media post by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies followed the suspects in a box truck at slow speeds.

The pursuit ended near another Walmart in west Houston.

The Sheriff stated that the suspects bailed out of the box truck and took off running near South Kirkwood Rd and Westheimer.

With help from HPD, the Sheriff states that two of the three suspects have been caught. Deputies are searching the area for the third suspect.

The Sheriff added that the back of the truck was full of possible stolen items.
