HOUSTON Whether you know NE-YO from his music, his movies, or his role as a judge on NBCs World Of Dance, one thingss for sure - he sure knows great dancers when he seems them! Things have definitely looked a little bit different for season 4 of World Of Dance. Normally, from the beginning, dancers perform on the big, bright stage with a live audience. For this season, the judges and producers have stripped things down to find the best of the best, making the dancers EARN their way onto the big stage. There are two rounds of semi-finals that begin tonight, August 4th, at 9 p.m. The second round will be next Tuesday August 11th, at 9 p.m., and the world final finale airing Wednesday August 12th, at 8 p.m.Watch as NE-YO chats with Lauren Kelly about what fans can expect from tonights episode!
HOUSTON The dancers from the Houston Ballet aren't letting the pandemic get them down. Because of everything that's going on, the Houston Ballet wanted to find a fun way for their dancers to stay connected and moving while spending more time at home. They came up with a group Zoom dance to Billy Joel's classic, "Dancing with Myself." The virtual performances might make you want to even get up on your feet and join them.
The dancers who were featured in a photoshoot that went viral earlier this month will put on their spring show this weekend. Earlier this month the ballerinas made headlines with their photos which many media outlets linked to Black History Month. Perry shared the photo on her Facebook page with the caption “fierce, determined and strong.”The viral photoshoot was shared by Good Morning America, People.com and BET.com. By coincidence, the date the families of the dancers agreed on happened to fall during Black History Month, according to People.com. “It just so happened to be February and what better month to do [the photo shoot] in honor of Black History Month.”
