UEFA EURO 2024 logo unveiled at Berlin's Olympic Stadium
With less than 1,000 days to go until Euro 2024 kicks off, the UEFA unveils the logo for the European Championship at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. This is the first time that the Germany will host the European competition, which will take place from June 7 to July 7, 2024. Only West Germany hosted the competition in 1988.news.yahoo.com

Local baker wins local competition with impressive Black Lives Matter cake
Pastry chefs Nikita Freeman and Neciey Shelton entered a baking competition last June to gain exposure for their at-home baking businesses. The experience pushed them to create their own baking competition, Bakers of Mo City. The winning cake was a Black Lives Matter themed design made by Tenique Guillory. For me, Black Lives Matter is very touchy because of my skin complexion, said Guillory. Putting all that hurt and pain into my craft.Bakers of Mo City also donated $1,000 to Black Lives Matter Houston.
Mayor Turner to give details on Liftoff Houston Business Plan Competition; $30,000 in prizes available
HOUSTON – Mayor Turner will announce the launch of Liftoff Houston, the City of Houston’s annual business plan competition sponsored by Capital One Bank and administered by the Houston Public Library (HPL) and the Office of Business Opportunity (OBO). The plans will be announced at City Hall at 3 p.m.Turner said winners in three categories – Service, Product and Innovation – will each receive $10,000 from Capital One Bank. Due to COVID-19 concerns, this year all Liftoff Houston events will be held virtually. The program also includes an Educational Pathway, which provides business education opportunities to all who are interested. Houston Public Library Director Dr. Rhea Brown Lawson, Office of Business Opportunity Director Marsha Murray and Capital One Bank VP of Business Development Mark Boucree will also speak during the press conference.
