2 of four suspects in Sierra Rhoddโs death appear in court
HOUSTON โ Two of the four people charged in the slaying of a disabled woman in Cypress last month appeared in court Monday. Cisneros has an extensive criminal history and the judge ordered Cisneros to be held without bond. Prosecutors said Andre Colson, 26, who was a passenger of Cisneros', also shot at the home and the guns used were registered to him. In addition to Cisneros and Colson, 25-year-old Austin McCalla and 19-year-old Xavier Fletcher are also charged with murder. Investigators said Rhodd, who had cerebral palsy, was asleep in a front room of the home when the shooting happened.

HOUSTON โ A man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of Sierra Rhodd, a disabled woman who was killed while sleeping in her bed in Cypress. The Harris County Assistant District Attorney charged Andre Colson, 26, with felony murder on Saturday. Colson is charged for recklessly discharging a firearm at and in the direction of a home and thereby cause the death of Rhodd on Sept. 13. While the motive for the shooting remains unclear, the family believed the suspects intended to target Sierraโs 15-year-old brother. A few days later, Sierraโs father, Michael Rhodd, was shot to death by her grandfather, authorities said.

Sierra Rhodd was killed after a group of assailants surrounded the Rhodd familyโs home and opened fire with at least a rifle, shotgun and pistol. After further investigation, authorities learned the intended target was Sierra Rhoddโs 15-year-old brother due to an ongoing feud with several individuals.

Sunday night Sierra was killed. โShe was the heart of our family, I donโt know what we are going to do without her. The Rhodd family believes the attackers were targeting Sierraโs 15-year-old brother. Several condolences have been left by the Rhodd family home.
Arrest made in shooting death of 20-year-old disabled woman in Cypress, deputies say
CYPRESS, Texas โ Deputies said an arrest has been made in the shooting death of 20-year-old Sierra Rhodd, a woman killed in a shooting while sleeping. Authorities said the shooting was possibly intended to be in retaliation against the victimโs 15-yr-old brother due to an on-going feud with several individuals. Deputies learned that the victimโs 15-year old brother discharged a handgun at the suspects as they were fleeing. Deputies said they also learned Sierra, who has cerebral palsy, was in her bedroom in bed at the time of the shooting. According to investigators, neighbors reported seeing a dark-colored sedan and a red pickup truck fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting.
