1 dead, suspected shooter in custody after killing in north Houston

A man has died after being shot during a disagreement in Houston’s northside Saturday night.

The incident happened in the 700 block of North Vista Drive just off of the North Freeway.

It was first reported as a weapons disturbance call. When deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrived, a man was found dead.

The suspected shooter is in custody. Officials have not released any information on the shooter or victim, or what led up to the murder.
