FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says a 33-year-old man was arrested after barricading himself inside a Five Below store with a weapon after trying to hit multiple people with a vehicle.

The incident started shortly after midnight Saturday morning when deputies responded to a disturbance in the 10300 block of W. Grand Pkwy S.
The sheriff’s office says Ramsey Jones, 33, who they believe to be a current employee of the store, tried to hit multiple people with a vehicle in the parking lot. He then entered the business and barricaded himself while armed.
After negotiations with law enforcement, Jones exited the business and surrendered.
He has been booked into the Fort Bend County Jail, charged with five counts of aggravated assault on a public servant. He also had two outstanding warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
