1 dead after crash involving 18-wheeler in Montgomery County

Highway 59 going northbound in Montgomery County was closed off for several hours at FM 1314 after a deadly crash involving a big rig.
The crash was reported at around 12:07 p.m. on Thursday. The collision involved an 18-wheeler and led to a large fire in the middle of the road.
All lanes surrounding the scene were shut down initially, but they have since been reopened.
There is currently no information regarding the victim’s identity or what caused the large wreck.
The accident was reported by Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden on Facebook.
