HOUSTON – Clergy, local community leaders and The Metropolitan Organization held a press conference Wednesday to call on Hurricane Harvey victims to appeal Federal Emergency Management Agency decisions since the floods.

The Metropolitan Organization says hurricane victims have been denied and received low compensation checks. In addition, the organization says victims are experiencing confusion about the appeal process – from the documents needed to the time allowed for appeals.
