Vehicle fire blocks all eastbound SH-99 lanes near Gleannloch

A vehicle fire is blocking all eastbound lanes of SH 99 in the area of SH 249 and Telge Road, officials said Wednesday morning.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office are assisting with traffic control while firefighters work to extinguish the vehicle fire.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route. Significant delays are expected while crews work to clear the scene and safely reopen the roadway.

Officials said an update will be provided once the roadway is clear.
