GALVESTON, Texas – Two people are hospitalized after a fire damaged Robert’s Lafitte, a historic LGBTQ+ bar in Galveston, overnight.
Firefighters were called to the bar near Avenue Q and 25th Street. The Galveston Fire Department said the fire began in a shed next door before spreading to the business.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
