Schlumberger cuts thousands of jobs after intense profit drop
No description foundHOUSTON – Schlumberger — the world's largest provider of oil field services — cut another 2,000 jobs in the first quarter.
The cuts come after the company reported a decline in profits from 975 million to 501 million.
The second quarter is expected to get worse for the oil giant as profits are expected to continue to decrease.
