1 dead, 2 injured in shooting after fight outside nightclub in downtown

HOUSTON, Texas – One person is dead, and two others have been hospitalized after a shooting near a nightclub in Midtown.

Houston police responded to reports of a shooting in the 3000 block of Milam Street near Diosa nightclub. When officers arrived, they learned three people had been shot.

According to witnesses, there was a fight between several men, and someone pulled out a gun.

All three men were transported to the hospital; one of the men died at the hospital, one is in critical condition, and the third person was shot in the arm and is expected to survive.
