18-year-old charged in fatal shooting outside a midtown Houston nightclub back in April

HOUSTON, Texas – Jefferson Velasquez in now charged with murder in the shooting that happened April 27th near the Diosa nightclub on Milam Street.

27-year-old Noah Ramirez was killed in the shooting, and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Houston police responded to reports of a shooting around 2 a.m. and found three people who had been shot.

According to witnesses, there was a fight between several men, and one of them pulled out a gun.

Investigators say there was a fight inside the club the led to the shooting.

Jefferson Velasquez in currently in the Harris County Jail and due in court Thursday morning.
