Cool start Monday but heat and humidity return late week

More rain Monday:

Waking up to another cool morning with temperatures in the 50s! The cool air sticks around through the afternoon with highs only reaching the low 70s.

Cool, gloomy and wet start to the work week

The cool weather also comes with another round of rain. The best chance for rain will be west of Harris County; the farther east you go along I-10, the harder it will be to see measurable rainfall.

Thankfully, there are no flood concerns with Monday’s rain, as most of the rainfall rates are expected to be light instead of heavy.

Here’s the timing:

By 5 AM, the rain moves into Brenham, Columbus, Bay City, El Campo, and Rosenberg. By 8 AM, light showers will begin across Harris County and continue through the evening.
