FREE bike skills clinic hosted by AAA Texas
Families can join AAA Texas Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until noon, for a FREE bike skills clinic at The Children’s Assessment Center, located at 2500 Bolsover Street, Houston, TX 77005. They’ll also have helmet giveaways and fittings for first 100 kids plus a bicycle raffle. The event is open to the public and registration is required, and you can do that here.

Airports
According to Houston Airports: This Labor Day weekend was the first time our airports have surpassed 2019 holiday traffic totals. Houston Airports welcomed about 800,000 people between Sept. 1 – Sept. 5. That’s about 1% higher than our 2019 Labor Day weekend total and 9% higher than the crowd we welcomed during the same time period in 2021.
EAST LOOP: Southbound from Port of Houston exit to south of the Manchester exit there will be one outside lane closed continuously until 5 a.m., Monday, Nov. 14
EAST BELTWAY: Northbound feeder from Fairmont Parkway to SH-225 will see two alternate lanes closed daily from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 30. Expect delays!
