Investigators said that deputies attempted to pull the driver of the F-150 over, but they sped off, running multiple red lights, until the driver crashed into a white Lexus that was traveling eastbound.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the driver refused to pull over during the pursuit and ultimately crashed into a light pole near Little York and the Hardy Toll Road.

A man wanted for hitting and killing a woman with a car while fleeing from police on Houston’s south side has been arrested in Illinois.

The Houston Police Department said shots were fired during a pursuit between an off-duty Harris County deputy and a suspect who the deputy saw breaking into vehicles in southwest Houston Saturday.

According to the Cleveland Police Department, they were notified at 2:24 a.m. that agencies from the Montgomery County area were pursuing a vehicle on US 59/I-69 approaching the city of Cleveland.

Bond was set at $1,150,000 Monday for a 19-year-old who is, not only accused of being involved in a chase and hostage situation in Houston, but also wanted in connection to a shooting that happened the previous night in Johnson County.

A suspect is charged after he attempted to flee from officers in a pursuit that ended in a multi-vehicle crash, killing one person and injuring another Friday afternoon.

HOUSTON – Six people have been arrested after a wild pursuit came to an end in northeast Houston Monday morning, Harris County sheriff’s deputies and Houston police said. Authorities said the pursuit started at around 2 a.m. in the 21900 block of Katy Freeway and ended in the 5300 block of Coke. According to authorities, suspects involved were in two different vehicles and had robbed a nearby pharmacy, taking two trash cans full of drugs. Investigators said authorities tried to stop the vehicles after the pharmacy was robbed but suspects then led deputies and police on two separate chases. Investigators said when the vehicles pulled over, all of the suspects jumped out and tried to get away on foot.
