A federal judge has approved a $425 million settlement involving Capital One, clearing the way for millions of customers to receive payouts tied to their savings accounts.

A major two-vehicle crash left multiple people injured and 300 customers without power after a powerline was hit during impact on a road in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

HOUSTON – Sprint customers are receiving personal, handwritten thank you letters from the company. The wireless carrier is pushing an initiative where employees are writing and sending handwritten thank you notes to customers. Every Thursday, Sprint employees are each writing at least five thank you notes. According to Sprint, so far, the company has mailed out more than 470,000 handwritten notes.
