An unlikely casualty of the coronavirus pandemic, independent medical practices are experiencing severe financial strain, according to a Texas Medical Association survey of physicians released Wednesday. Police in Sugar Land and West University are looking for two men accused of burglarizing homes.Surveillance video from earlier this month shows the same suspect in the same getaway car approaching the homes in broad daylight.Investigators believe the suspect knocks on the doors to make sure the owners are not there, then leaves to drive around and enter through back doors.West University police say after breaking a back door to get into a home on Chalice Street, the burglar ransacked the master bedroom and stole jewelry.If you have any information, contact Sugar Land or West University police.

A Netflix documentary set in Sugar Land will debut Oct. 16. Ghosts of Sugar Land tells the story of a group of Muslim Americans living in Sugar Land as they trace the disappearance of their friend who is suspected of joining ISIS. Referred to as Mark in the short film, the movie follows the social misfit who converted to Islam before entering college, according to a press release. The film won the Short Film Jury Award for Nonfiction at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, the release stated. The Wu-Tang Clan recently finished the Gods Of Rap tour which had the group performing across Europe with Public Enemy and De La Soul. They almost immediately went from that excursion to touring stateside for the 25 year celebration of their debut album. They still took the time out to perform in celebration of their debut album being released 25 years ago. In honor of the album the group performed every song, with RZA introducing group members as their verses came to the stage.
