Northbound lanes shut down on Highway 59 feeder road in Sugar Land after 18-wheeler crash

SUGAR LAND, Texas – All northbound lanes of the US-59 frontage road at SH-99 in Sugar Land are closed after an 18-wheeler crashed, spilling a load of gravel all over the road.

Traffic is being allowed to continue straight to Williams Way and Richmond Parkway.

Houston TranStar visuals captured the truck tipped over on its side. It’s unclear what led up to the event, and the truck driver’s condition is not known at this time.

Drivers are warned to expect delays and encouraged to find a different route.
