The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force, aided by the Galveston County Constable’s Office Precinct 1, executed search warrants on Feb. 5 at two Texas City residences, recovering illegal drugs, currency, and firearms after a lengthy narcotics investigation. Keonda Bell, 26, was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses, while Deatrick Black, 45, is wanted on charges including unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Numerous drugs were seized and a 28-year-old man was arrested after authorities executed a search warrant at an apartment across from Klein High School during a narcotics investigation.

The sheriff’s office said it happened in the Walden subdivision last night.

Wu, along with state Senator Paul Bettancourt, was one of a handful of lawmakers who obtained a copy through legislative privilege. In a tweet Tuesday afternoon, Chief Acevedo said he would release the audit to the public if District Attorney Kim Ogg gave the okay. "We're looking to Chief Acevedo to hold up and do what he has said that he is willing to do," said Wu.
