HOUSTON – Houston diners looking for an excuse to try a new spot — or revisit a favorite — have a new reason to make a reservation this weekend.
Houston Restaurant Weeks returns Saturday, Aug. 1, launching a 38-day run that organizers say will include nearly 400 restaurants across Greater Houston. The annual “Dine Out & Do Good” campaign runs through Labor Day, Sept. 7, pairing prix-fixe deals with donations that help stock the Houston Food Bank.

How it works (and what it costs)
Participating restaurants create multi-course, fixed-price menus for brunch, lunch and dinner, with a built-in donation attached to each meal sold, according to the Cleverley Stone Foundation, which produces the event.
Menu price points for 2026 include:
- Brunch: $25 (donation included)
- Lunch: $25 (donation included)
- Dinner: $39 and $55 (donation included)
Organizers say dinner participation is required for restaurants, while brunch and lunch options vary by location.
A fundraiser that’s grown into a Houston tradition
Now in its 23rd year, Houston Restaurant Weeks has become a signature late-summer tradition in the region — a time when restaurants typically see slower traffic and diners are more willing to explore new menus.
The Cleverley Stone Foundation says the campaign has generated more than $23 million for the Houston Food Bank since it began in 2003 — an impact the organization translates to more than 70 million meals provided across Southeast Texas.
“Houstonians are truly special. I don’t know of another city that comes together in quite the way Houston does to support one another,” Katie Stone, president of the Cleverley Stone Foundation, said in a statement. She added that the event continues the vision of her mother, the late Cleverley Stone, and the idea of bringing people together “around the table” to make a local impact.
Where to find restaurants and menus
Organizers say the most up-to-date list of participating restaurants and their menus will be posted on the Houston Restaurant Weeks website, with updates continuing as the start date approaches.
Among the returning participants listed by organizers are well-known Houston-area names such as Brennan’s of Houston, Bludorn, Hugo’s, Xochi, Rainbow Lodge, and multiple locations of Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill and other restaurant groups.
This year’s newly added participants listed in the release include restaurants such as Bistro Mistral, Cafe Brasil, Caribbean Jerk Palace, El Tiempo Cantina (multiple locations), North Italia (multiple locations), Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab (Houston and The Woodlands), Uchiko, and others.
