According to HCSO, the female student attended Tomball High School from 2016 to 2020 and reported the alleged relationship earlier this month.

“Child Protective Services is working alongside law enforcement to investigate allegations involving a Klein High School employee,” a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services spokesperson said.

Law enforcement officials said the investigation remains in its early stages and that no charges have been filed at this time.

The sheriff’s office encouraged anyone who may have been a victim of sexual abuse to come forward and file a report.

On Monday, Tomball ISD notified families and staff that it had recently learned of a law enforcement investigation involving Codutti.

“Tomball ISD is fully cooperating with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation, and at this time, the matter is in their hands,” the district said in a previous letter to parents.

District officials also stated that no complaints, concerns, or reports of misconduct involving Codutti surfaced during his employment with Tomball ISD.

Lamar CISD also released a statement, stating that there was no evidence of any misconduct when Codutti served as the head football coach at Fulshear High School from 2021 to 2025.

State records do not currently show any active investigation involving Codutti. However, KPRC 2 has reached out to the Texas Education Agency for additional information.

KPRC 2 has also contacted Codutti for comment and is awaiting a response.
