Ground stop at Hobby Airport (HOU) extended to 3:30 p.m. for thunderstorms

A ground stop has been issued at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) due to thunderstorms in the area.
The stoppage was issued at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday and was scheduled to last until 2 p.m., according to the FAA website. The stoppage has now been extended until 3:30 p.m.

There have not been any stoppages or delays issued for George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) at this time.
