Spool falls off heavy truck during 2-vehicle crash on East Freeway, blocking several lanes

HOUSTON – A spool is back on a Houston freeway and causing a headaches for drivers on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident was reported at 12:10 p.m. on IH-10 East before Wayside Drive.
According to Houston TranStar, the heavy truck lost its load during a two-vehicle crash. A large spool is blocking two center lanes.
Crews responded to the scene to clear the debris.
No injuries have been reported.
