HOUSTON – An 18-wheeler lost its load Wednesday afternoon on I-45, just after the Katy Freeway, according to Houston TranStar.
The incident was reported at 1:47 p.m. on the North Freeway at Hogan Street.

The 18-wheeler was carrying three large spools and one of the spools got into the roadway.
Several lanes were closed, causing traffic for hours as crews worked to clear the freeway.
It is unknown on what caused the spool to fall off.
No injuries have been reported.
