For those spontaneous fans who’ve decided last-minute to attend this epic clash, obtaining a ticket might prove to be a more formidable task than anticipated.

According to TicketIQ, an event ticket search engine, the average list price on the secondary market for the 2024 National Championship Game currently stands at a staggering $3,282.

This makes it the third-most expensive championship game since the inception of the College Football Playoff, trailing only behind the Alabama-Georgia ($4,040) matchup in Atlanta in 2018 and the Alabama-Ohio State ($3,610) faceoff in Miami in 2021. To put it into perspective, last year’s Georgia-TCU game boasted an average ticket price of $1,626.

Delving into the specifics, on the secondary market, ticket prices for the 2024 National Championship Game vary significantly based on seating tiers.

  • The cheapest options are 600-level tickets, starting at $1,263, while 600-level sideline tickets command a slightly higher price, starting at $1,588, according to TicketIQ.
  • For 500-level tickets, prices range from $1,466 in the corners to $1,727 on the sidelines.
  • Moving down to the 300-level, prices start at $2,012 in the end zones, $2,122 in the corners, and $2,445 on the sidelines.
  • For those seeking prime views in the 100-level section, prices range from $2,164 in the end zones, $2,090 in the corners, to $2,638 on the sidelines.

Cheapest and most expensive options:

As of Wednesday on StubHub, the absolute cheapest ticket available for Monday’s game is listed at $940 before fees. On the other end of the spectrum, the most expensive ticket on the secondary market is listed at a jaw-dropping $98,063.
