17-year-old passenger grazed by bullet in road rage shooting on HWY 59, deputies say

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A 17-year-old was taken to the hospital after deputies said he was injured in a road rage shooting in Montgomery County on Saturday night.

According to the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m.

The constable’s office said calls came into the Montgomery County Dispatch Center regarding shots fired along Highway 59 near The Grand Parkway in New Caney. Deputies responded and were on the scene within minutes.

When they arrived, they found two vehicles that had driven off the roadway into a group of trees near the intersection.

Deputies with the Pct. 4 Constable Criminal Investigation Division arrived on the scene, and will be conducting an investigation.
