2-year-old girl at center of AMBER Alert in San Antonio found dead

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A 2-year-old girl who was the center of an Amber Alert in San Antonio has been found dead Monday, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Aryana Trevino Martinez was last seen Sunday around 7 p.m. in the 4000 block of Allegheny Drive in San Antonio, Texas.

The girl was later found around midnight near the area where she disappeared. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Aryana’s cause and manner of death remain under investigation.

The AMBER Alert was canceled around 3 a.m.

Authorities have not released any further information about Martinez’s death.
