Police: 10-year-old struck in hit-and-run, police searching for driver

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for the person responsible for hitting a 10-year-old who was walking on the sidewalk in the 3100 block of West Little York Road on Nov. 1 around 7 p.m.

Police said the victim was walking westbound on the sidewalk when they were possibly struck by a white four-door Buick LeSabre, police said.

After the impact, the suspect left the scene without rendering aid to the victim, who suffered severe injuries, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. There is no word on the current condition of the victim.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the men in this case.
