Humble’s Cris Sosa advances to AGT live shows after hilarious cereal comedy set

You get the chance to vote for him starting August 18 on KPRC 2

Houston – Humble native and comedian Cris Sosa is officially headed to the live shows on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” After making the judges laugh during the Callback round with his take on cereal in a Latino household, Sosa earned his spot in the next stage of the competition at the iconic Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.

Sosa says he is feeling “amazing” and is excited to get ready for the live shows. He also credits judge Howie Mandel, a longtime comedian and entertainer, for giving him advice throughout the competition. Sosa says Mandel encouraged him to be memorable, seize the moment and bring a “wow factor” to his performances.

The callback episode also featured comedian Nikki Glaser, another moment Sosa appreciated as a fan and fellow comedian. Sosa says it felt good to receive support and feedback from comedians he considers among the greats. Making it to the AGT Live Shows is another major milestone in a comedy career that has been 13 years in the making.

Now, Sosa needs more than just the judges’ support. The “America’s Got Talent” Live Shows begin August 18, and viewers at home will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite performers. Sosa is calling on his family, friends, classmates, co-workers and fans across the country to tune in and support him.
