Houston the pattern is changing: Heat, humidity and rain returns by mid-week

Monday’s Forecast:

Monday, southeast Texas waking up cool, in the mid to upper 50s. This will be the last morning with morning lows below 60. Houston’s pattern is changing as a southeasterly wind returns; heat and humidity will rise.

Monday afternoon, we are seasonably warm with highs in the low 80s.

Mid-Week Cold Front:

A mid-week cold front will bring another chance for rain Wednesday through Thursday. Depending on how fast or slow the front moves, we determine how much rain Houston can pick up.

There is now a risk of strong to severe thunderstorms developing on Wednesday as the front moves into southeast Texas. We are still several days out, so stay connected for an updated timeline and impacts.
