A 71-year-old Bacliff man has been sentenced to federal prison for possession of child sexual abuse material for the second time, announced Acting U.S. Attorney John G.E. Marck.

A man accused of helping the longtime suspect in the “Texas Killing Fields” murders conceal two bodies is now facing more charges.

The search for human remains on a property in Bacliff ended on Friday, according to officials with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office. The search was triggered by the recent indictment of James Elmore, Jr. on charges related to the murders of Laura Miller and Audrey Cook.

On Thursday morning, authorities served a search warrant at the Bacliff home of James Elmore, the man who has been indicted in connection with two of the four “Texas Killing Fields” murders.
