2020 Kingwood Park Volleyball Preview
Welcome to the 2020 volleyball season. Here is one of the Dark Horses - the Kingwood Park Panthers. Kingwood Park PanthersIt wasn't that long ago that Kingwood Park was hoisting the trophy in Garland (2018). Looking towards 2020, Kingwood Park will have to replace some big pieces, including Libby Overmyer (Colgate), Avery Hill and Alia Williams (LSU). Other key returners include first-team, all-district pick Anya Arrington (488 digs) and second-teamer Hallie Ryan (181 kills, 116 digs, 47 blocks).

Briana Contreras recently won the VYPE San Antonio Preseason Middle Blocker of the Year Poll. VYPE caught up with Contreras for the 411 on the star from San Antonio Highlands High School. VYPE: Favorite subject in school? Contreras: My favorite thing to do off court would be hanging out with friends and family. Contreras: My favorite high school memory so far would be helping my high school advance to the second round of the playoffs my freshman year.
