KPRC 2 and our Community partners at Energy Transfer and Houston Christian University are shining a spotlight on The Cody Stephens Foundation. The heart screenings, which detect issues that may not be identified in routine physical exams, have potentially saved more than 200 young lives.

A Montgomery family is grieving the unexpected death of 15-year-old Kaleb Hill, an incoming high school freshman who collapsed from a fatal heart attack just days after receiving a routine sports physical.

Over the next two weekends, KPRC 2 is partnering with The Cody Stephen’s Foundation and several other sponsors to offer free, in-depth, heart screenings for teen athletes and non-athletes all over the Houston-Metro area.
