Offices on the ballot in the 2026 Texas statewide primaries included all of the major executive and regulatory positions that voters across the state will be choosing nominees for.

These statewide races included governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, comptroller of public accounts, commissioner of the General Land Office, commissioner of agriculture and one railroad commissioner seat.

In addition, voters selected party nominees for seats on the Texas Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeals as well as members of the State Board of Education.

Competitive legislative and judicial contests, such as seats in the Texas Senate and House of Representatives and various appellate courts, also appeared on the primary ballot, and some races may draw heightened attention depending on turnout and competitiveness.

Polling places opened from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, with early voting held Feb. 17–27.
