A woman was arrested after allegedly throwing a weighted plate at another woman’s head at a 24 Hour Fitness in Houston, according to deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

It's all in the name. 24 Hour Fitness has 18+ locations around the Houston area. Of course, they shut down during the pandemic, but now that they are back open, why aren't they back to being open 24 hours?

HOUSTON – When Texas’ COVID-19 occupancy and mask restrictions are lifted Wednesday, a chain of gyms statewide will offer its members a choice: mask or no mask. 24 Hour Fitness said it designates a “club within a club” for customers who don’t feel comfortable exercising without a mask. 24 Hour Fitness, which has 39 locations in Texas will welcome all residents and first responders regardless of membership through the end of March. According to a news release Thursday, Texas residents who are interested in visiting their nearby 24 Hour Fitness club can simply visit to gain access throughout the month. Karl Santf, Chief Operating Officer of 24 Hour Fitness said in a statement they are pleased to offer their clubs to the community as a place to take care of their physical and mental wellbeing.
