Astros' Alex Bregman hints at more good deeds coming

HOUSTON – It hasn't even been a month since the season ended for the Astros, but MVP candidate Alex Bregman has already made plenty of headlines.

He tipped a Houston waitress $500. He surprised a fan by showing up at her wedding. Now, he's hinting at performing more good deeds.

Bregman teamed up with Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale at Gallery Furniture's North Freeway location Thursday to give away 500 Thanksgiving turkeys. That's where he promised more acts of kindness, random or otherwise.

"We're starting to do more things," Bregman said. "We're going to be out in the community this offseason a bunch, helping out in a bunch of random ways, so it'll be good and hopefully affects and helps a lot of people."

"Some of them are random," Bregman said. "Some of them will be planned. But we're going to try to impact as many lives as possible."
