14-year-old riding e-scooter hit by vehicle (Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office)
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities say a 14-year-old girl has been taken to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle while she was riding an electric scooter Friday.

It happened in the 26200 block of Kuykendahl Road in the far northern part of Harris County.
Details on the crash are limited, but authorities with the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office say the teenager was transported to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed at the scene and the investigation remains ongoing.
This is the second time this week Precinct 4 deputies have responded to a crash involving a child riding an electric scooter.
On Tuesday, deputies were called to the intersection of Lincolns Meadow Drive and Dukes Run Drive in Spring where a 10-year-old girl was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while she was riding an electric scooter.
