HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured after she was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter.
It happened this evening at the intersection of Lincolns Meadow Drive and Dukes Run Drive in the Spring area.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the girl entered the intersection without stopping at a stop sign. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Deputies applied a tourniquet to the girl because of significant bleeding before she was taken to a local hospital. Her current condition has not been released.
