Man with multiple gunshot wounds found dead in northwest Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON – Houston police were called to an apartment complex in northwest Houston early Sunday after a report of gunfire. When officers arrived at Oakwood Gardens in the 5600 block of Antoine Drive around 1:20 a.m., they found a man dead outside.

Investigators said the victim appeared to be in his 60s and had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including injuries to his head and chest.

As of early Sunday, police had not released any suspect information or descriptions. The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division is investigating.
