HUMBLE, Texas – A man was shot by a Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy while deputies responded to a reported disturbance at a home in the Humble area Wednesday afternoon, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The shooting happened in the 15600 block of Morning Dove Drive.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1:37 p.m.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a social media post that deputies were responding to a disturbance call when a deputy discharged their weapon, striking an adult man.
The man was transported to a hospital. His condition has not been released.

No deputies were injured during the incident, according to Gonzalez.
