Pickup crashes into Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Atascocita, killing one, injuring multiple people

ATASCOCITA, Texas – Authorities say at least one person was killed and multiple injuries have been reported after a vehicle crashed into a store in Atascocita.

The incident happened at the Nothing Bundt Cakes store at 19250 W. Lake Houston Parkway. It happened at approximately 3:12 p.m.

The Atascocita Fire Department said one person inside the store was killed. Another person was transported to the hospital and three others were evaluated at the scene.

Authorities with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office say the driver of the pickup truck has been detained.

Authorities ask people to stay away from the area as they respond.
