Ground stop lifted at Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston due to disabled plane on runway

HOUSTON – A ground stop has now been lifted at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) after a disabled aircraft being reported on the runway.
According to the FAA website, the stop was issued at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday. The stop was removed after the anticipated deadline at 2:30 p.m.

It’s unclear how the plane became disabled or if it will need further repairs after being moved.
