Ground stop issued at Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston due to disabled plane on runway

HOUSTON – A ground stop has been issued at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) after a disabled aircraft being reported on the runway.

According to the FAA website, the stop was issued at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday and is slated to be lifted at 2:30 p.m., barring further complications.

It’s unclear how the plane became disabled or if it will need further repairs after being moved.
