HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – An apartment complex fire in north Harris County prompted a multi-agency emergency response Friday, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
Authorities said the fire response is in the the 21700 block of Inverness Forest.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office said they are assisting responding agencies, including the Eastex Fire Department and Ponderosa Fire Department, as crews work to contain the fire.
Authorities said nearby residents are being evacuated while firefighters and other emergency personnel continue operations at the scene. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and expect heavy emergency vehicle traffic.
The constable’s office said the investigation remains ongoing. No information was immediately released about injuries or the cause of the fire.
