Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on ground delay, ground stop lifted at Hobby Airport (HOU)
“Weather conditions make it unsafe for airline crews to retrieve bags”

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston are now under a ground stops Wednesday afternoon.
According to the FAA website, a ground delay is in place at Bush from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. There was previously a full ground stop in place from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The stop at Hobby has been extended. It is now scheduled from 1:58 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“We appreciate your patience if you are waiting for your luggage,” IAH officials said on Facebook. “Weather conditions make it unsafe for airline crews to retrieve bags.”
The reason for both stops is listed as “thunderstorms.”
