Boat found floating upside down in Houston’s Buffalo Bayou

First responders followed a situation at Houston’s Buffalo Bayou, where a boat was found facing upside down in the water Tuesday morning.

The boat was located near the 5300 block of Memorial Drive at Memorial Service Road, according to HFD.

The situation was the latest in a string of incidents related to bayous across Houston, with Buffalo among the most prevalent.

KPRC 2’s Deven Clarke headed to the scene, but it was largely cleared by the time he arrived.

HFD contacted KPRC 2, saying that the boat had been examined and there was no indication that somebody was drowning or dead in relation to it.

The scene has now been cleared, HFD added.
